“...the world always goes, moving around and starting from itself to itself comes back...”
Janus is a very special divinity, in which I immediately recognised myself.
This two-faced deity, can look back to the past and forward to the future at the same time.
Its very ancient worship dates back to that old age, when people’s devotion was strictly connected to the natural cycles of sowing and harvesting time.
In ancient times, the farming products were considered precious, not only because they feeded populations, but also to be used as a bargaining chip.
Today these products are treated and managed with the same care that a mother can take of her son: they are the land’s gold.
